Bush Kinder Policies
Bush Kinder is run as a routine outing from Westgarth Kindergarten, Policy development is an ongoing process. The program adheres to the policies of Westgarth Kindergarten, with the addition of specific policies, and policy amendments, relevant to running the kindergarten in a bush setting. Policies will be adopted and reviewed throughout the duration of the pilot. In 2012 Bush Kinder removed a policy on the use of tools as it became clear that tool use did not fit with the philosophy and pedagogy of Bush Kinder. Parents will be notified of policy updates via the Bush Kinder News page and via email if the policy update is highly significant to those involved in the pilot program.
